Essential Oils: A Viable Health Care Alternative

Essential oils, in all shapes and forms, have been used all over the world for decades for a variety of different purposes. However, not many people know there are actually a few different types of essential oils that can be used. All of which are fine and dandy, but clinical grade oils, which can be more difficult to come by, are what we should all be investing our money in. What exactly am I talking about? Well, let me explain.  




Different Types of Essential oils
In general, there are four different types of essential oils:
1. Oils for recreational use, such as candles or perfume.
2. OIls made solely for food flavorings
3. OIls that are classified as "therapeutic," but are actually watered down versions of the real thing
4. OIls used for medicinal and clinical purposes.
The first two, although pleasing to the nose and mouth, aren't exactly good for much else. These oils are distilled to the point where they lose all credible value. In order to be used for clinical purposes, the plants which the oils are extracted from have to be grown, harvested, and handled a certain way. However, many companies with clinical grade oils each have their own personal way of going about this.
 
Are Clinical Grade Oils Right For Me?
I'm gonna go right ahead and say yes! Clinical grade oils are always a fantastic option. Although they are a tad more expensive and harder to come by, they also have life-changing benefits! For example, just the act of inhaling these oils, also called aromatherapy, can benefit you by improving your blood pressure and adrenaline production. And if you're human, which you probably are if you're reading this, you most likely have had a bad mood at least once. Well, there are oils that can fix that right away. Lavender and Jasmine have been proven to reduce insomnia, depression, and anxiety.  There are also almost limitless ways to use the oils. you can inhale them, apply topically, use them orally, etc. etc. Basically, real clinical grade oils can be used to help improve your every day life, and I urge you to do more research on them for yourself.
How To Spot Fakes
If you're wanting to get some clinical oils for yourself, the worst thing in the world would be spending your money on a product that doesn't actually have clinical or medicinal properties. Luckily, there are a few methods that even the average Joe can use to determine what's real and what's not. Here's a few examples of what to look for:

1. The sourcing standard: botany, climate, soil, harvesting and distilling procedures
2. Full disclosure standard. Some companies will let you know the purity of their oils
3. Physical testing. Clinical grade oils will generally have a different texture, smell, and taste


Final Thoughts
Essential oils, no matter what kind, are a wonderful investment, but only one type of oil can actually benefit you in the long run. Clinical grade oils and their benefits are supported by scientists, amd are even becoming more and more readily available to the general public for use. If you're tired of those every day problems that we all face, such as stress, depression, anxiety, headaches, etc., then clinical grade oils will be your best friend!
